Reds went 12-3 in league games from 1961-1963, losing just one league game each year.  The Reds also turned in a 6-2 league record (and 11-2 overall record) in 1966, and a 5-1 league record (and 8-1 overall record) in 1967, narrowly missing league titles in each of those years as well.

The Reds' first summer playing American Legion Baseball was in 1959, and the Reds went 47-6 (89% win percentage) in league games through 1963. Three Eaton legends--Norm Blehm, Don Blehm and Alan Beede--led the Reds on the mound and at the plate throughout this early era of dominance, competing against the larger schools from Greeley, Fort Collins, Loveland, Longmont and Boulder in league, and against the much larger Denver and Colorado Springs teams in the State Tournament. 1961 State Championship Greeley Tribune Articles
