Eaton noted as "A town that houses not only the most successful baseball program in Colorado,
but could be argued the most successful high school baseball program in the entire Nation."
Reds' pitchers threw the final 12 innings of the State Tournament to their Reds' catcher in shutting down a team
that had been scoring 15+ runs per game in the tournament;
the Reds' players also knocked in over half of the RBIs in coming back through the loser's bracket to win the State
Tournament.
